As a seasonal business that primarily operates when school is closed, Stone Mountain Park is privileged to hire mostly students. One of our missions as an employer is to “love and launch” these amazing young people into successful vocations.

One significant way we do this is through the Thriving Lives Beverly Wilder Memorial Scholarship Program. Beverly Wilder was an incredible woman who worked at the park and had a particular passion around mentoring disadvantaged young people. There are three elements to the scholarship program: 1) A financial scholarship of $3,500 for full time college students. 2) A mentor to guide and advise the student. 3) An intense development program that includes career path planning and life skills classes.

Thriving Lives is a 501c3 charity established to care for employees who work at Stone Mountain Park. The golf tournament is the primary fundraiser for the scholarship program, and we would be honored for you to participate either directly in the tournament or indirectly through a donation.
